The John Howard Society: John Howard Society of Peterborough has been working to make our community safer by providing support and services to individuals in conflict or at risk of becoming in conflict with the law, their families, and the victims of crime. Peterborough Legal Centre: The Peterborough Community Legal Centre provides free, confidential legal help for low income residents of Peterborough County. If you have problems with: OW (Ontario Works), ODSP (Ontario Disability Support Programs), Housing-tenants only, EI (Employment Insurance), CPP (Canada Pension Plan) or disability pensions, they can help! Peterborough Aids Resource Network: PARN is new to the TEACH Centre and offers support, health promotion and advocacy for people HIV-infected and HIV-affected. PARN provides education for people at risk for HIV and awareness of AIDS issues to the broader community.
